.25 x .715 = .17875 x $13.33 spot price = $2.38 per quarter? which is 9x face. if someone wants anything more then that its a rip off?
someone wanted 15x face at a shop the other day. i basically couldnt tell them why but i knew they were nuts! if i am doing the math correct above then for sure they are nuts!!

I agree with your math. Further $2.38/.25 = 9.52X face. At about $21 per ounce junk 90% sells for 15X face, so they are not nuts, they just have not adjusted for the current dip in price. I'm not selling at 9X face (or at 15X face either) but everyone can set thier buy and sell prices wherever they want too.
Also consider that some are trying to sell "junk" silver as collectable... one man's junk is another man's treasure.

Ebay never currently follows spot price, or current value of silver. =/ It takes a long while for people to level out. I saw people paying 20bucks per 1ounce bar, they could buy from the manufacturers website for 15. =/
You should buy it as cheap as you can. But when the price moves up or down significantly the spreads increase substantially. If would be hard to find a coin shop selling for "spot" right now unless they really needed to raise money in a hurry. There are not a lot of motivated sellers at the current price level.
