I really can't believe someone would sell that roll. I would open it up if I got it at an estate sale.
The other side is the two end coins are worth around a $100 together.

"This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the "hidden" confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard." Alan Greenspan, 1966.
The sad thing is that people are falling for the scam left and right. I mean when will people learn their lesson? Also i doubt anyone would look at one side of a roll and see a 1909s and the other side see a VDB and then not open it.
It's not even a "vintage roll." That paper is the standard wrap I get many of my pennies in today. Not hard to make a roll like that if you have an automatic wrapping machine. Weathering the roll to make it look older is not hard either. Older paper would most likely be red and thicker. Even that would not guarantee it was an old roll. Surely there is some old stock rolling paper laying around, and I think I saw one banking supply house that sells solid red penny paper for automatic rolling machines. You would think he would buy his 1909 VDB's using a different ebay handle. I saw where he bought a couple when I checked his buyer history.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.
Long time running scam. Do a search and see how many of these rolls are listed on ebay, and how many have sold in the past 30 days. I really dont understand the mentality of getting something for nothing. You get what you pay for. Doesnt matter if its coins other collectibles or home and auto repair.

Wow! It sold for $865. There is hope for coin collectors.
Can we send an email to the sucker informing him of said fact?

You must have noticed how much he emphasised that he did not know what was in that roll. He claims he had no idea of what the coins all are so no one can say he didn't warn them.
