I've seen some "fresh" coins dating back about 5 years in a batch I bought directly off a customer at a RBC. He said he just throws all his coin in jars and then rolls it up every few years. So I'm thinking he got new coin in the past, and it has sat until he sold it to me in rolls.

Two weeks ago I picked up a box of pennies and came up with about 21 BU 1959Ps. Last week, I picked up box and came up with 1.5 rolls of BU 1964Ps. Today I picked up a box and am finishing off the second roll of 1964Ps. Must be bad times if people are parting with this stuff. I hope they let the indians loose!
Where do the BU's come from?
