Every eBay auction I'm seeing for copper cents emphasizes that pre-1982 cents are being sold. But of course with a Ryedale, we can sort out the '82 coppers from the zincs. Do any of you include '82s in any of your auctions? Some people who bid on eBay might not realize that Ryedales can separate coppers from zincs and might question how we know that the '82s we include are actually coppers and might think they're getting zincs. Any suggestions?
say in your auction they were sorted by a machine looking at magnetic fields or say it optically sorts them or something. It doesnt really matter, just say you have a machine that does it. Bidders will believe it!

Yep.. I still have an analog counter sitting in my penny processing center. It doesn't get much use nowadays with all the Glory's and De La Rues waiting to be fed pennies, but that 'ol Downey/Johnson is built like a tank and has counted a fair amount of wheat cents in it's day.
Heck, I go back so far we didn't even sort the copper out.. they were all copper!
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
