1 box yielded:
209 Ni (10.45%)
Amazing. Last box was 211 (10.55%) and this time it's 209 (10.45%) Very similar numbers.
And: 10 U.S., 1 rabbit and 1x42 in good shape.
Keep the Ni coming. Nickel is up 51% this year. It's got nowhere to go but up. |

I was going to stop sorting over the holidays, but I started suffering from withdrawal symptoms so I picked up a small batch (10 rolls of Nickels and 10 rolls of pennies) when I was cashing a cheque today.
10 rolls of Nickels yielded - 32 x Ni (8%) - 1 x 1958 Elizabeth - 1 x multisided Cuban coin, I am seeing a lot of those lately. - 10 x Americans (post 1963)
The pennies sorting turned to be really good (nothing after 1987) and got 98% copper. I nearly got a 100% yield, if it wasn't for 10 post 1982 Zincolns |

1945V, I haven't done any pennies at all. I'll try a box.
Like you, I wanted to stop for the holidays, but today I could not resist. I grabbed a box as I was passing a bank. I took a quick quick look at the top coins on 5 of the rolls and I think it's going to be a good one.
Copper box tomorrow... hehe cool.
Wolverine... God bless America! I love your country. Also, when I search any box, nickels, dimes, quarters, I get all kinds of U.S. coinage, giving me an instant profit on the exchange rate. Not to mention, I love American coinage, just for the styles. It's great stuff! |

I got another 60 rolls yesterday. Of which, 10 rolls were another sorter's dump.
- 242 x Ni (10%) - 2 Kings (1941, 1949) - 7 young 12 side queens (including 1953 chrome, 1955) - 15 Americans
That's all for now.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year |

Good job on the 98% copper box 1945V,sure makes hand sorting go alot quicker.
I had a box once that had 2 non copper cents in it.
I was going to stop sorting over the holidays as well but they put the discount Ni and Cu stores next to the Christmas present stores. |

My average for past month is hovering at 10%. Last year at this time it was 20%. Next year at this time = ??? (5% or worse) |

Great numbers dpwozney 27 Ni from one roll is stupendous. Keep hitting that source bank for sure.
My best so far is 17 Ni's.
Anyone here get a solid roll of pre-82 nickels in the last few years? |
