Maybe there is one in one of the CU bags or one of those Brinks boxes that are gathering dust over there ---->. Seems to be more out there lately. You never know....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Found a 1907 today. First one in a box. I'm pretty sure that it was planted by those crazies that want us to believe that there are wild indians. I'M NOT FALLING FOR IT!!

I found my third Indian today. It is a 1907 with "liberty" being readable. It was in some CWR and was trying to sneak itself into the zinc box.

The Indian Head's date is 1899 and it appears to be in good condition, in case anyone was wondering.

Mooski,

There are many of us out there that are doing our part to make wild indians a thing of the past. However, we haven't gotten there yet. I am not sure that we ever will. Uninformed people deposit valuble coins into the system all the time. People turn morgans in at face for FRN's, proof halves, barber halves, walkers, franlkins, full rolls of 90% silver halves... These are just some of the finds that I have had in the last 2 years. As long we continue to use change as money and there are uninformed people there will be indians and their cousins (listed above) in the wild.

Found my second Indian today. I received my new ryedale in the mail today and the first $50.00 bag I went through found a 1899. It came out on the zinc side. They aren't kidding when they say watch the zinc. Besides for the Indian and a large number of copper Canadian, it would have otherwise been a dud batch. I wonder if someone thought the Indian was just a Canadian cent lol. On another note my machine is down because of jamming. Andy has been helping me troubleshoot it though :)

What do you expect with the unfair marketing strategy unleashed by the Cult recently. Really, would you rather be dancing around a fire with some hot women or would you rather to not be finding Indian Heads with us responsible RTs?

I watch my zinc pile like a hawk. No Injuns to date. I think you guys have made up all these alleged Indian finds just to poke fun at the few of us nonbelievers.

I have sorted maybe 275 dollars worth and found 2 ihc's. But I did notice one thing out of the 275 dollars worth, 75 was sorted from rbc centura and the 200 was sorted from bank of america. I found bank of america is holding indians and copper hostage b/c i always find someting good there. I went through 2 boxes at centura and found maybe a 2 dollars copper, and was finding 5 to ten dollars at BOA. SO maybe you that have searched and have not found need to change banks or towns that are close

Inquiring minds want to know

Well I had to stop sorting after only 1 roll today to let ten bears know I'm the proud owner of my first wild indian. 1892 in good shape. I've only been sorting for about a month and have been very surprised but what I'm finding. I guess I've sorted about $300 worth so far.

A mere $300 (that's only 12 boxes) sorted and you already found a Feathered Liberty? I think I am going to go throw up.

(Congratulations on your find.)

So when tenbears finds his first wild indian, are we going to have to throw a party or something? Maybe we should start a contest where we can all guess what date tenbears lands his first wild indian. :)

It's been a while but I found another Feathered Liberty in Deep East Texas no doubt - a real nice 1895 - still has some bright copper on it- may have been cleaned.
Also got a 1909 vdb and a 43 steel.

Beer is my currency.
