You're 1/4 of the way!

Figure 1 per 100,000 sorted on the average.

I got lucky and snagged my first IH on my first (no foolin) box.

But this average has worked out over the long haul.

Trust the government? Ask an Indian.

Just so you don't give up hope I have probably sorted close to $800.00 to find this. The first came from a customer wrapped roll. Knibloe must be the area.

Actually, they release a lot of wild Indians for national coin week in April, so keep your eyes peeled.

Just checking in on the cult. Mistero, what are you doing here?

"Rich," the Old Man said dreamily, "is not baying after what you can't have. Rich is having the time to do what you want to do. Rich is a little whiskey to drink and some food to eat and a roof over your head and a fish pole and a boat and a gun and a dollar for a box of shells. Rich is not owing any money to anybody, and not spending what you haven't got." Robert Ruark

i haven't found an Indian... but i found Indian tracks!
i found a 1910 with the reverse of an Indian imprinted on the obverse... poor Abe has a very legible (backwards) ONE CENT brand.
Sitting Bull's revenge?

Considering Verizon Business service? Perhaps you'd like to consider a nice drain cleaner enema instead?

(Spoken in a very hushed tone) Be very careful. This is how we lost Art. Are you going to try to do the naked fire dance covered in feathers?

Has anyone beside General Custer found more indians than Hoard?
Edit: I just thought of something... I wonder if Hoard already beat Custer?

hi guys, this is my first post here. i have been collecting IH's for long time and have some real nice ones. nice full liberty's are getting tuff to find on the cheap side. so i've been getting into wheats. i really enjoy searching through them. i'm easy to please. you guys keep writing about getting pennies from Brinks. could somebody fill me in on how you get them? i'm trapped at my house from an injury. can you call them and order them? one other question lol , how many are in a box and how much you should pay for them? thank you for your time , ken

We usually have to go to a bank and pick up a "brick" which is $25 (2500) of pennies. Hopefully, you can get someone to pick them up for you if you can't get out. I imagine dropoffs are VERY expensive if you could get one, and having a brinks truck come to your house would be wayyyyyy too much advertisement for me.
Welcome and good luck!

Diary Entry June 4, 08

Delusional thinking seems to get worse with the progression of wild Indian disease. Some members of the wild Indian cult, who got it bad so to speak, sometimes claim to actually catch a wild Indian as often as once a day. THEIR still is no cure.

(On a serious note, congratulations on your find.

To Ardent and the Mods: Please change my forum name to TenBears. Cowboys and Indians never mixed well. I think the wild Indians you guys are finding are intentionally avoiding me because of my forum name. With a change in name to something more Indian friendly, maybe I will have better luck finding an Indian.)

I better get busy sorting before norcal grabs all the Indians in my area. My favorite T-shirt is a Far Side T-shirt with a circle of smiling Indians looking down and the caption "Custer's Last View" According to something I read in Stereo Review several years ago, on June 25th 1876 Custer was the first individual to experience "True Surround Sound"

I think this Indian thing is probably a regional thing.. kind of like low copper percentages.. norcal and I are just in a target rich environment. I don't think a name change would help at all tex. You haven't even tried the dance yet.

LOL!! I just saw the new sig line.

The naked, feathered fire dance is the last resort. I was hoping to try a name change first.

I AM TenBears. There is iron in my words for all to hear.

At least I'm consistent, zero for me still.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
