Saturday I did my usual "banking" There are two branches of the same major bank I try to hit every few weeks, they are 10-15 miles apart. The tellers know me by site and always save cents for me. But what is strange they both said I have a lot of pennines for you and they are old

One branch had $32 the other had $54 I didn't think much about them other than the wrappers were old looking and faded. Well when I got home a few hours later I looked closer, on the $32 buy many of the rolls said "50 all 1945" or 57 or 58 or 41 etc. Total 44 rolls solid wheats. on the other buy I opened all and found 200 wheats. But then I decided to run the memorials through my ryedale. Probably 52-53% coppers.

breakdown
$86 = 65% copper

$24 wheats
$32 coppers
$30 zinc

That's awesome...my best day from one box is around 40 wheats total. Congrats on the nice find!

Arghhh!! Where there be old pennies, there often be old nickles, dimes, quarters and halves.....Arghhh.

Better Copper % then I get though I was getting 25% when I stopped "I lost my dump bank" and got to hard working bankers hours.....Ive not been sorting or searching coin.
other then searching some at work here and there dont have time.
Found a nice 57 ben and 2 rossies the other day.
Also a Spec of gold on my break.

Happy Hunting,

Yes, I also asked if either person deposited other coins. One bank yes one bank no.

I bought about $100 in other stuff. They wre older but nothing special.

One thing I did not search yet (completly) There were 5 rolls of nickels. Each roll is machine wrapped at $2.50 each. One of the rolls was taped up so I opened it about 50¢ in 1959 or earlier and one silver nick. The roll is machine stamped $2.50 nickels with a casino/club name and "Downtown Las Vegas, NV"

Any collectable value here for the other 4 rolls?

Neat on those wrappers never seen them before.

A while back I came across a 20 dollar half roll and a 10 big dollar roll. "Paper rolls"
