C'mon! We've all seen them. You know those pennies that have been married, either purposefully, or with some unearthly adhesive. There I was on a Friday night divorcing a couple with two pairs of pliers (Luke would be proud of me). Luckily, I didn't hurt myself in the process (HoardCopper would be proud of me).

I think I would just leave them to their stickiness myself.
Who knows, maybe when you come back there will be a third penny growing in the middle of them :) |

| I've got a lot of them. Put them in a cup of soap water and if they don't get divorced, then they end up in a paper rolls and returned to a my bank along with any really crappy pennies. |

It's not P.C.....but at my house we call them "Gay Lincolns" when they are stuck together....three types face-to-face is "Kissing", face-to-back is "Spooning", back-to-back is "Woman Scorn".
Any Lincoln stuck to a dime is "Dime Caught Slumming"
Loose diem in the penny batch is a "Bonus Dime"
We have a whole list of non-PC penny jargon:
When sorting Canadian pennies - I often get the larger British Penny...we call her the "Fat Lady"...as she jams the Ryedale.
The really young queen penny in Canada we call the "Hot Queen".
Mid 70's queen in "Middle Aged Queen"
Newest Queen Penny = "Grandma Queen"
Any King pennies we call the "Doofus King".
Funky Green pennies are "Felties". |

And when the FAT QUEEN (Elizabeth, not Elton John  ) jams the ryedale and the sorting noise stops you gotta act fast cause the penny slide backs up and coins start popping at you. |

Yeah. The queenies are the only coins that have given my Ryedale any kind of problems (nothing serious, though.) Usually I can pop out any problem coins in half a minute, but the the queenies take a little longer. Luckily, I've only encountered a few. |
