I'm in Louisville, KY. Eddie, Dudley, and Alice are my Brinks penny personnel. I think poor Marrio got fired because I've only seen one box from him and it was from September.
Where are you at and what names are on your Brinks boxes? Trying to figure out if the coins are rolled at central locations for each region and how widespread the distribution is.
I've had 3 boxes here with Cincinatti transit tokens in them.
Also if you've ever had a really good box do you remember the date on it?

Seems each Brinks branch is different. Mine carry no names, they carry numbers... and a date But some of the sorters here get boxes WITH NO DATA STAMPED.
My most common number from different banks is #45. All different dates. |

I'm from central Michigan and there is absolutely nothing on the Brinks boxes that I get. I've heard people talking about numbers and names, but mine just come plain as the day the box was made. |
When my wife got after me it sounded like "Blah,Blah,Blah", but now it sounds like "Clink,Clink,Clink". Its amazing what that Ryedale can do for a hounded husband. |

All of my Brinks boxes in CA are the generic plain stealth boxes. No names, dates or numbers. |

Almost never anything on them. Sometimes a number, (box count?), and there have been a couple with what I guess are initials on them. Never any skunk boxes....(Knocking repeatedly on wood)

Sometimes those skunk boxes actually contain 1 or 2 coppers.. LOL. Interesting thing.. in my last pickup from Dud Central Bank I expected to get 8 more dud boxes, but 1 box actually weighed 300 grams extra.. Woohoo!!! Against my better judgement I allowed them to sell me 4 more boxes today. Almost afraid to put them on the scale.. LOL. |

I never thought I would be afraid of a box of pennies.. LOL. Actually, if those dud boxes have a couple of coppers in them they are usually a little better.. I got a nice 1925-S out of one a few weeks ago. |

Hi JSutter,
I'm your next door neighbor, 90mi to the South. I've been getting CWR so far, and the other day I picked up my first Brinks Box.... 100% zinc!! Full range of zinc dates also (82-present), very peculiar. Are you getting all zincs as well?? |
