You should ask if anyone has ever found an Indian penny in the copper accept pile. I think that's a real rarity. Of the 50 or so i've found only 2 have been seen in these piles. |
Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.

Absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably incorrect. And no, no indians found. |
"Rich," the Old Man said dreamily, "is not baying after what you can't have. Rich is having the time to do what you want to do. Rich is a little whiskey to drink and some food to eat and a roof over your head and a fish pole and a boat and a gun and a dollar for a box of shells. Rich is not owing any money to anybody, and not spending what you haven't got." Robert Ruark

Well, I did it. She's pretty excited and never got suspicious that it was a setup. Then I put it in a flip for her, and now she has her first indian head. I have still have zero.
Now maybe I should buy a flying eagle and do the same thing. I wonder if those are the same size as modern cents (and will fit in a roll)?

Ummmmmm.......that would be a definite NO. None found for me yet--just those I won in the contest. Over two years of hand searching rolls and, yes, I have searched over $1,000.00 worth of pennies.
Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. |

Congrats, Heavy Metal, to your son for finding two IH cents!!! That's awesome.
Here's hoping he finds many more.

I just found my second Indian this year, a 1903 in solid Good condition. I am a hand sorter who sorts about one to two hundred a week. The only bad thing is that my oldest son who is eight really wants to find one of these; his time will come. |

i've gotten a 1945 Mecury and a 1935 Mercury but never an Indian. I buy rolls of wheats from a guy and usually get at least 1 Indian per roll of wheaties. |
