My boss showed me an IH he found in the coinstar machine this morning. A 1889 that was pretty beat up.
I regularly find them sorting. Usually at least 1 a month |

Hey welcome, Frankie C! That's pretty cool, actually getting one in change.
Now that I think of it, when I worked at a gas station in college, there was an Indian and a Buffalo nickel in the cash register one day when I went to work! I had totally forgotten about that! So this one that I found in a bag was not "officially" my first... but it was the first one found while sorting. Cool. |

| I have seen one in circulation in Canada, a 1906 if I remember right. Unfortunately it was in a locked donation box at a coffee shop so asking to buy it was not an option. The cashier seemed mildly interested when I pointed it out to him. |
