If it's "Coin roll" hunting.. then loose halves don't count. Any kind of coin hunting is just fine. |

That's the way I roll.. hehe. Glad you guys like it.
That's just some extras I shipped off to another member this week. I figured I would snap a pic before I put them in the box. Of course, as always.. whenever I sell a little.. silver spikes. |

Went to a bank a couple of weeks ago that had about $1,000 in halves...took half of it last time and had some decent results. I was in the area yesterday so I went to pick up the rest. She had $480 BWR left. Opened 33 rolls, and left 15 rolls unopened.
$330 BWR = 1 Walker, 3 Franklins, 4 90% JFKs, 19 40%
The other 15 rolls will be opened in the next day or two.
Also of note... in the rolls that we opened, we had our first ever roll that "went for the cycle" = Walker, Franklin, 90% JFK, and 40% in one roll (I thought that was awesome) |

Just curious, how much does a coin rolling machine like that cost? My wife/partner wants us to roll the coins so we can dump them faster. |

One $500 yielded a 1967 and a 1968 JFK 40% silver halves. Not bad but since I found them early in the box, I expected more. Nevertheless I am pleased.
It is still a problem to obtain more than 1 box a week and I have asked 2 banks this week. If they decline to order me boxes, they are getting dumped on.
BOX SCORE 2 40% JFK
RUNNING TOTAL 5 boxes 12 40% JFK 1 90% JFK |

$100 quarters CWR; $90 dimes CWR; $500 dimes BWR all yielded nothing. $100 BWR nickles yielded 4 war nickels, 1 impaired proof, 1 canadian, and 17 pre-1960. |

The buyer.. another member here.. was quite pleased with them. And of course silver went up immeditately after the sale.. lol.
Only one of my 3 rolling machines will roll halves. That machine starts at about $7100 new.. but can be had for around $2000 used. Gotta sell a lot of copper to pay for one of those. |
