I sorted some halves today..

Bank #1 $240.00 mix of CWR and BWR (5) silver..

Worked my way through more than a grand worth of CWR halves from a couple of banks and they turned out to be searched rolls (all were marked). Only scored 2 40%'s from loose teller halves. Totals:

$1126 CWR and loose halves - 2 40%'s

$30 nickels - skunk

$269.50 in bank rolled halves--Two 1968-D 40% silvers. Out of the 27 rolls, the bank shorted me 50 cents.

I had a very bad silver week, so I picked up $500 box of paper bank rolled dimes just before saturday closing today ----- 1 1964-D. Very discouraging week.

That's not as bad as my week. I think I've skunked out in over $2000 in dimes including today

However, finally broke my skunk streak!

$200 in bank rolled dimes--no silver, but I did find 8 Canadian dimes. I'm still up in northern Wisconsin. Dose anybody in the forum live right near the Canadian border? Do you get alot of Canadian coins mixed in with regular US change?
