Alright, I've finally gotten my copper stash back up to 100 lbs.! A little over a year ago I had to have shoulder replacement surgery, and my hoard of silver and copper was nearly wiped out. I'm just a hand sorter, so it's taken awhile to get back near where I was. Always encouraging to have a stash. I feel much better when I have PM's to fall back on in an emergency.

We are not Just Hand sorters but just taking it easy on Guys with worse addictions that need to sort $500 at A time. We are good Christan's who practice restraint so all can enjoy sorting an hording together. I bought a couple of boxes an both the wife an the mail carrier will be happy if I only sort, for the next year.
Odd coins from penny bags or boxes are also fun, A dark dime in a 50 cent roll is a plus factor, I do Whine when the Half box is counted $1.50 or more short as I'm still on the Skunk streak. |

| I only do Halves now and then as I can only afford a few rolls at a time. I've actually had pretty good success doing that though. One roll had 7 40% coins. I've also found a few 90% Kennedy's and 1 Franklin! |

| When I was living in Kentucky there was a small bank by my house and I asked if they had any half dollars The woman at the counter gave me 2 rolls and I found $12.50 in face 40%'s but have had little luck since then. I enjoy hand sorting coppers, I feel it relaxes me plus I can do it when I watch TV with my wife so I don't have to designate time to it. Good to see you back in the game, hope the shoulder is doing well. |
