Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".
Ready? Now pay attention...
Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.
Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0
0 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.
Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year.. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $9,631 .00.
Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.

Very interesting subject matter.
It is an unfair world for Mr. Legal so it seems. Yet, it is not only Jose that is at fault in this scenario or a willing participant. Life has shown me that many individuals in society practice this very same "song and dance". They are U.S. citizens that actually can manipulate it further than this example, with someone above their simple status providing the opportunity. So, no, it is not only "Jose" or the heritage this post attempts to isolate.
The situation would not exist for the policy in place. It is these charities to society that reek like the rotting carcass of this once independent thinking nation. The vulture's are circling and they are always hungry! If any of these subsidies were to be pulled the outcry would wake up the dead.
It is not the player its the game we need to turn our attention too or simply sit back and take it! By focusing on an individual we play directly into the hand and will no doubt be handing over more cash at the end of the night. It promotes biased emotion directed not at the problem but at the resulting behavior.

HA! Well that's the last straw! Ya know what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna sneak into Mexico and abuse THIER social welfare programs!
I work in a highrise office building that is also home to the local FBI office and an orifice of the secret service, Dumbo Joe's detachment. Each Thursday morning as I walk in, there are four "Joses'" doing the landscaping. The "upscale" coffee and sandwich shop attached to the building has a kitchen chock full of Joses' and Lupes'.
Course, them FBI boys, they're just too busy to worry about Joses'. No, they got better things to do like run across the street to the YMCA for an hour or so each afternoon, often carrying 30lb dumbells with them. They're so busy, that they usually don't even get a chance to shower, and end up coming back in the building in thier sweaty gym clothes.
When they're not at the gym, or looking at the pictures in Muscle Guy magazine, I'm sure they spend plenty of time training with guns and paramilitary toys. To be fair, they do seem to have plenty of time to hand "certificates of appreciation" or "honorary agent" diplomas to local police who they've taken a shine too. I think they really get off on all the cool things they get to do each day.
But ya know, for all the cool fun stuff they get to do, I've never seen them actually bring someone in in custody.... I guess that' some other departments job.....

| Should try living next to them. Absolutely no respect for the neighbors, or neighborhood. Noisy, Rude, and not afraid to threaten you. And the cops do nothing about it. |

I second that. The city I used to live in had to pass an ordinance where no slaughtered livestock could be hung up outside the house. Goats, chickens, and anything else they could get their hands on were hanging in the front yard for all to see. Once they move in, its time to pack up and move out. |

Not only do Jose's kids get free lunch, but they also get a free breakfast at school and during the summer they qualify for free lunches as well. During the school day they will also get a bilingual aide who will translate the teacher's spoken english into spanish. |
