Nope.. none of 'em are.

The ones with the really big mint mark above the dome are 35% silver.

The ones with no mint mark or a small D on the right side of Montecello are copper-nickel.. 75% copper/25% nickel.

The ones from Canada are special and have a different metalic combination.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Beau.... I'm not sure if you got all the words into your last thought. It doesn't make sense.

IF you were asking... Canadian nickels from like 1920 or before(something) WERE silver, sterling I think. And called Fish scales because of their size and thinness.

"May your percentages ever increase!"

Yeah, HCBTT after quite a bit of looking (even before I posted the question) I found the same info. The reason I ask is because I found a 1942 without a mintmark (Philly). I had it in my mind that all 1942-1945 nickles were silver and had their mintmarks over Monticello. I thought I had an error coin. I was hoping I could retire early. I guess not
