I have about 5 lbs of computer memory that I'm tired of kicking around under my desk. Is this stuff worth anything for scrap? It came out of a big bank memory upgrade two or three years ago and I got it in a bunch of "stuff" I bought from the bank. It says it's:
256MB, DDR, 266, CL2.5 if that means anything to anyone.
I'd guess there's something just over a hundred sticks of it after a quick scan...
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

You can sell memory sticks on eBay. It should be worth much more than scrap! |

As computer memory it's becoming outdated, and if you don't have a way to test it, probably not worth selling that way, but it's certainly worth something for metal recovery on eBay. |

Memory sells for about $9 to $10 per pound for scrap. |

if it works just sell it as is, if not sell it is scrap I read that the new craze in PC's is going to be recycled parts. I guess the PC industry is going green like everyone else. |

everyone is going green. ANd if you don't agree, they'll just turn you into fertilizer. More green.
Oh, sorry, a little off point. |
