does any one know if the price for scrap metal of all kinds in iowa gone up or about whats its worth

Best thing to do is to call around to your local scrap yards. Everybody's prices will be different.

Prices will vary from place to place, but you can check the "what did you scrap this week" thread to see what other people are getting.

Welcome to realcent from your neighbor in Nebraska! I don't follow too closely, but I believe prices are down right now.

We're down a bit in FL. On my last trip, Copper was $2.35, steel was .085, and Aluminium was .55.

Are you throwing that out?

Last week ferrous was $8/100lb and #1 Cu was $2.20 here in Orlando.
