Kiwi - did you end up buying them? If so, did you get any cool finds? |

Whats to think about? Buy them, go through them, save anything before 1940 and dump the rest. The only ones that are going to tie up any of your money are pre 1940 and there won't be that many of them. And if there are so much the better I'll take pre 1940 wheats for 4 cents a piece anytime. |
COPPER - the "poormans" precious metal!!!
SELLING - $100.00 face copper shipped to you for $189.00 machine rolled or bagged - PM me if your interested. |

Yes I would but I don't think I can sell the 40s-50s for 4c apiece |

I think you can get 4 cents for them, or darn close to it. Usually when someone puts a bag of them up for sale here on Realcent for $200.00 shipped they don't last very long. I doubt there is anything too valuable in those rolls but you never know. I have purchased rolls that were mislabeled and they had some valuable coins in them. Offer him $200.00 for them that is just a little over 3 and a half cent a piece. I just don't see much downside risk. |

If you have the spending money go for it. If you have deep debt other than a house mortgage; pay that off first. |

Mostly early 40's and 50's as to be expected, also lots of 55's...He found the cents on his wife's side of the closet after she passed away last year. |
