Nice!!

It's a select group of folks who have found V-Nicks in 2010 sorting $62,925.50 (1,258,510 nickels): zerocd has found 6 of them, and fb101 and ZigMeister have each found one each. We can now add cwgii to that select list.

X-Mark IDX Token

These appear to be computer-encoded tokens made to stop usage of slugs/counterfeit tokens for car washes, casinos, and other businesses.

I don't see you in V-Nick stats until this latest find. What month did you find your other V-Nick?

Pretty sure that my recent casino gaming token finds are these guys.

Have to read what makes them special. Why not use fifty cent pieces?
I notice that the local coin counters readily take them for a fifty cent piece anyway!

BTW, today's "gold" dollar coins are such junk. The coin counters here are full of car wash tokens in the dollar bags as they can't seem to tell the tokens apart!

Had one of my best days ever. Went to 4 banks today for halves. These are banks I haven't visited in several months. Details:

Bank 1 Total $380 CWR and machine rolled halves:

44 - 64's (includes 1 solid roll)
1 - Ben ('63)
1 - Walker ('42)
56 - 40%s (includes 2 solid rolls)

The 3 solid rolls of silver were marked "1964, 1967, 1969" and were rolled in a type of wrapper different from the other $350 although as you can tell they had plenty of silver also (especially 64's)

Bank 2 Total $70 CWR:

9 - 64's
3 - Bens (all '62s)
22 - 40's (one nearly solid silver roll had 19)

Was so excited at this point I had to try a couple more banks, but I was brought back down to earth:

Bank 3 & 4 Total $270 CWR and machined rolled - skunk

cwgii - I reviewed all the posts in this thread for March 2010 again. The V-Nicks that were reported was a 1907 found by zerocd on 3/4 and an 1899 found by fb101 on 3/10. I did not see any posts from you in March that reported a V-Nick find. Please tell me the date and time that you posted in this thread in March that references your 1903 V-Nick. It could be you never posted your 1903 V-Nick in this thread.
