What do you thing would be a good way to approach a multi-millionaire investor to get him interested in sorting and hoarding copper cents on an industrial scale?

Also, any ideas on the level of investment required for machinery to sort massive amounts of coin?

Are there known ways to sell the sorted coin in bulk in the near-term, at enough markup to make business sense?

Any advice along these lines would be appreciated. I have a contact I want to present a proposal to do this.

Wouldn't that be cutting the throats of the small-time sorters like most of us on here, plus possibly attracting unwanted attention from maybe the government? And as far as "business sense" goes, most sorters/hoarders are hoarding copper as a hedge against currency devaluation, and we haven't seen that on a major scale yet, so anyone holding substantial, industrial-size hoards of copper would have to be able to spare the change (pun intended) until FRNs plunge or until base metals take off (or both). If I were you, I wouldn't worry about trying to get any industrial sorters on board. The ones who realize the value of copper are probably already sorting.

How you would approach him would greatly depend on what type of an individual he is. If he is the type to look into the future long term with his investments then you might have a shot at selling him on the idea of a sort and hold strategy. But if he is looking for short term profits then you will need to come up with a marketing strategy to move sorted pennies quickly. That can be tough to do. I wounder if a multi-level marketing system could work?

The thing is that if you believe in this project then don't let anyone or anything stop you.

There are already 'industrial' sorters. Isn't it highroller that has the copper business in Washington. With 1-ton lots available?

And HoardCbtt could be considered industrial since he has multiple machines operating. And there are at least another two or three like him.

Could it damage it for the rest of us? ....Just do all you can until that time comes. Hopefully you'll have enough.
