Brinks boxes in FL are thick with them.
I been seeing a steady 10% rate the last week in the "B"'s, not so much in the NFStrings.
This week it's up to about 20% with 2 of the 8 I got today completely full of them. I think I may take a complete break from the "B" boxes just to get away from them.
If anyone is intersted in them, hit me up a PM, otherwise, they all go back to the dump.

I work for Wells Fargo, but not in a branch, the shields when they are found cause a buzz in the office. I've had a few people offer them to me. I like the design, how it harks back to "olden days", but I hope they go back the the Memorial next year. |

They're everywhere out here in California. I find them in every box I search and get them in change everywhere I go. I am under the impression that the Shield cents are here to stay. I do not believe they are going back to the Memorial. Silver Miser |

Here in Central FL I got the one roll with 20 in it, but other than that I've hardly seen any. |
Are you throwing that out? |

Had $100 more in the trunk, 2 of the boxes are like 70-75% shields with a heavy amount of coppers mixed in them. Look like zebra rolls. Weirdest looking thinks I've seen yet.
There is some interest in them still it seems. I was shocked at the list of PM's over the last 24. For those intersted in them I'll update here as I see'um, and I'll PM back those who PM first.

I got a few of them myself in rolls now. If anyone is interested in those, drop me a PM. Obviously hit up NoCents first, but if you get flooded buddy, I can relieve some of the pressure. |

Yes, please do. I've had several PM's wanting rolls to box fulls.
Bit more than what I got, so I guess I'll be on the look for more on Monday. |

No shields in my neck of the woods. Not one. Kansas City general area in Missouri.

Live free or die. Plain and simple.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Maybe NDFarmer will come down some time next weekend and spend a few in the woods. Being so far from the mints, wonder why I'm seeing so many? And this isn't exactly the big city either. Palm Bay, Floriduh is kinda small compared to some of the towns within an hour or two from me, and they are just as bare as some of you guys are. I don't get it, and, I kinda wish I didn't either. |

Still pulling 25 to 40 percent in Texas. PM me if the others run out. I still have several boxes and have been trading and selling with the other members on the trading page. |

I am about 2 thirds in a box hand sorting, and have found 6 shields all Denver mint. I will be keeping them and giving some to my daughter because she just started coin collecting. I live in Lubbock, TX just starting to see shields in circulation here. |

I have not seen a single 2010 penny yet, in fact, im not even seeing any more than 5 2009's per box either. I'm fine with that, it keeps the copper up in the 30 percent range. |

I am guessing that Silver Miser is in southern CA based on the amount he is seeing. I am in the bay too.. which probably accounts for your lower copper percentages. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |

I don't do cents anymore . I do dimes and halves . By the way, have you seen the half dollar rolls marked RS before? They're extremely annoying |

I have about 25 rolls now in Delaware. I think I have another box that half the rolls will be Philly Shields.
That's all I'mm keeping.
