Time to dig out the old coin magazines. I would like to see this article again.
I started sorting coppers after reading an article in a coin magazine about the change in composition for US cents. After 20+ years, I'm wondering if anyone remembers this. This is what I remember... (questionable)...
1) Would have been c1987 to c1989 ... (about the time I had discretionary income, but before I figured out girls cost money).
2) I think it was Coin World.
3) The cover photo was comprised of US cents.
4) The 09 s VDB and other key dates were well covered in additional articles.
Anyone remember this?

I don't remember which numismatic magazines were circulating then, but if it's still publishing wouldn't you think they might have a website now? Search the archives of the main ones and maybe you'll find it. If not, just google the topic you're interested in for more recent contributions on similar subjects.  |
