I have found a few of the stamped coins, you know with kennedy or different states stamped on the obverse, but last night was a twist to these finds. I got not 1 but 2 coins that had a cross, not stamped, but punched completely through. Both 1999's. Maybe someone was scared by the upcoming 2K nonsense that was going around.
Anyway I was all set to toss them into the "return" pile and thought hey maybe this is a sign to "ME". They will now become the property of 2 of my granddaughters.
Now I need to find 5 more for the rest of the gang.
I've found one before also. Consider this... if you reached the conclusion that "maybe this is a sign for me," then isn't it just possible that SOMEONE decided to nudge your conscience? A punched penny is easier to make fall into your possession then spontaneously igniting a nearby bush. Part of the "preps" that this site is all about is making sure you are prepared for if TSHTF, methinks that would include your faith. JMHO
