Today I picked up an 1875 Mexico 50 Centavos
It has what appears to be a "T" counterstamped over the cap on the reverse side.
Is that common with old Mexican coins? Does it take away from the value?
Thanks

Possibly a Chinese "chop mark". I'm not sure why they did it, But I've seen several examples. |
Are you throwing that out? |
