Asked for halves at one of my regular bank stops and the teller who I've dealt with many times before mentions that she has "a bunch of rolls from a little old lady who got them from her dead husband's coin collection". I scored a total of 43 40%'s from the 21 rolls. Some interesting stats: I was amazed at how evenly the silvers were distributed, 4 rolls were skunk, 9 rolls all had exactly 3 silvers in them and 8 rolls had exactly 2 in each one. Also all silvers were '68 or '69 - nothing older which leaves me to believe it probably wasn't so much a collection as it was a spare change jar or box the old man started in the late sixties. I did ask if she brought in anything else, but the halves were it.
Those "little old lady" stories are always good. Since my wife works at a bank I've lucked out with several of those scores. A couple were almost unbelievable.
