Found one of these in a box of my Dad's. I see that is it has some silver, but not sure how much any help out there? I would love a link to a site if somebody has one.
Its numi value is probably a over spot but not much.
British coin silver content is all proportional, like US junk silver. 3 pence x 2 = 6 pence, 6p x 2 = Shilling, Shilling x 2 = Florin/2 Shillings, etc.
Pre-1920 is 0.925, post-1920 is 0.500, silver removed in 1947.
And he that hath lyberte ought to kepe hit wel / For nothyng is better than lyberte / For lyberte shold not be wel sold for alle the gold and syluer of all the world. -Caxton's edition of Aesop's Fables, 1484
