What does a copper sorter do when their Ryedale gives up the ghost? While Andy is fixing the critter, I decided to try halves. Got my first order of $2000 in today, and have only opened two rolls (duds) while at work. Now that I'm home, one of the end coins looks a little too shiny to be a clad, may be a 64 reverse I know from reading others results not to get my hopes up too much... seems like maybe one 40 or 90 for every two boxes is the norm, but I'm keepin my fingers crossed anyway. I'll let ya know the results

Why he just switches to one of his alternate Ryedales of course!
Hope you find some silver in those halves. |

well, so far the results have been disappointing. Two boxes down... skunked. The shiny one was a 2001. Two to go, and I already smell the reek of skunk scent emanating from them... what a bunch of roadkill

You forgot to discount the face value of the half... total profit from 2 hours of work= $2.18 Aren't there laws against paychecks that low? |

an interesting development occurred when I turned them back in. The bank wouldn't give me cash. "Oh, they're making us deposit them now,"says the teller. Good thing I have enough to cover the next batch and not have to worry about instantly recycling the first deposit. I wonder if this is supposed to be their form of discouraging my nasty habit?? |

| I bought two rolls of halves yesterday and just pulled two 40% out of them. (One out of each roll.) :) |

| If you deposit them, how do they credit your account? If they deposit them as cash you could go to the atm and get at least some back. Or go to a different branch and withdraw it since it should be available. |

Good luck my friend, 1 find in 8 boxes was better than what i was finding last month. So i stopped thinking that pennies could be a better choice.
but with copper sales being almost stopped i'm not sure what to do.
1 find for 3 hours of work is pretty tough. But people are finding silver coins perhaps you'll be one of them if you stick it out over time.
good luck. |
