I have been noticing in my sorts and from the posts on the web page. The amount of Canadian coins has started to decrease. I was getting 1 Canadian every couple rolls. Now the number is a lot lower. Could it be that with the US $ becoming weaker, we aren't getting as many Canadian coins dumped in the US? My last sort I received 8 Canadian pennies for $52, or 1 every 13 rolls.

I haven't noticed any change yet, but I don't doubt that it's happening.

It is probably like you say, that Canadians are holding on their cents now instead of dumping them in the US.
There might be people hoarding Canadian cents also. I save them from a certain date on. Certain Canadian cents have copper in them also! |

| Lots of Canadian pennies in my area. On the other hand there are a lot more Canadians spending money in my parts due to their strong dollar. |

| I am located just a few miles from the Canadian boarder. With the Canadian dollar stronger than ours, tourists from Canada are coming down by the bus load to spend money in our area. For some reason they think it is funny to spend their coins here. It was kinda funny in the past but now I welcome it. I am seeing an increase in Canadian coins. |
