Turned in some aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and glass.
$110.00
You must be in a deposit state. What is the deposit on a plastic bottle or glass?
I'm in California,so the deposit is 5 cents for both. |

940lbs steel @.105/lb = $98.75
It's interesting to note that here in Orlando yards were paying anywhere from .075 to .105 per pound when I called around. That's a big difference so I'm glad I made some calls first. |

No, I have about 130 tons of it left lying in my driveway. Been piling it up out there for about two years now. Time to move it! |

I wonder how much more we would get if we lived in Phoenix? Prices I would think are more there. Thought you would get the same as me in Yavapi.
I scraped 480 more lbs of scrap steel @.085 a pound. Need to bring down some elect motors and some other stuff while the prices seem good. |

I've been getting $10.50/100lb for about a month now. Spend some time on google looking for other yards in your neighborhood if you haven't already.

I routinely drive over all sorts of tire hazards at my yard. Heck my first day there I stepped on a bolt, while unloading the truck, that went right through the bottom of my shoe. Whenever I finally have to replace the tires I'm definitely going to sign up for the hazard coverage as I'm sure I'll be needing it ;).
