Well now that I'm out of a storage unit and preparing to move to GA, today was part 1 of my turn-ins.
7lb. insulated copper - 65% return - $9.80 @ 1.40lb. 1 radiator/AC unit - $10 716lb. iron - $42.96 @ .06lb. 2lb. stainless steel - $1.00 @ .50lb. 28lb. electric motors - $5.60 @ .20lb. 120lb. aluminum cans - $72.00 @ .60lb.
Total - $131.36
Tomorrow I have a few hundred pounds of aluminum that I stripped off of 6/1 cables, and probably 100+ pounds of yellow brass. Not sure if I'm gonna dump my copper stash, I'll probably pack it up and take it with me. |

The end of last week we recycled/scrapped 35 pounds of aluminum cans. No place to store anymore so they had to go. It took a long time to get this many saved up though.
In Central Florida the rate was 35 cents/pound. |

You must be in a deposit state. What is the deposit on a plastic bottle or glass? |
