Yesterday, Friday, I went to Winn-Dixie to get a couple of chicken tenders for lunch. I received my change and this one time I didn't bother to check it. It wasn't until after I got home that when I went through my pocket change and saw 3 shiny new 2010 Lincoln Cents with the new Shield reverse! Has anyone else seen any or gotton any in change?

CoastalEdge, welcome to the forum! I'm glad you finally decided to join us.

I met CoastalEdge at the FUN Show in January and told him all about our forum and how nice and helpful everyone is and invited him to join us.

Congrats on finding the 2010 pennies! That's awesome. None up in Central Florida yet that I've seen. Still haven't found all of the 2009 coins yet!!!

Enjoy your coin searches, everyone.

I've been watching fee-bay for prices on the rolls of the 2010 Cents. The wife and I got 48 rolls the other day at the 2010 Cent release event and I got them stamped (with Lincoln stamps, of course) and canceled at the Springfield PO. The most I saw 1 roll go for was $24 and that included an additional date-stamp of 2/11/10.

I have a dealer I know who said they'd buy a few rolls for a collector they know. I am not sure what to charge the dealer - $5 a roll seems reasonable.

Opinions???? Thanks!!!!

I haven't even seen an LP4 yet. I REALLY like the new 2010 design and can't wait to get my hands on one.

Hello All,

I went back to the Winn Dixie and they had a few rolls. They would only sell me 1 roll, and I had to buy something so I got the roll back as part of my change!

I'm looking at it now. Its a red NF String & Son wrapper, Harrisburg, PA. They are Philadelphia's, not Denvers, as I am in Florida. It's a small town so I went to the two banks and neither one said they would be getting them in. One teller actually told me to go to the Winn Dixie as she had heard they had them LOL!

I could sell the one roll, but I'm happy with it and will keep it. I don't want to make any $$ on it. If I get some more loose ones there (I get my lunch there every other day) I'll post it and will mail them out at postage cost should anyone really need one.

Take care!
