Nickels are suddenly hot in this era of "Change you can believe in" (no pun intended).
If contract law no longer matters and we can DEEM'N PASS bills then anything goes.
No need to wait for traditional means of approving anything. So, if you think nickels are something you want to "collect" then the risk is time in waiting to take action. I loaded up over a hundred boxes and now crack a few open from time to time and pluck war, buffalo and pre- 1960's out then return and replace. Nice risk free hedge and still finding some fun little treasures out while they still circulate.
The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities.
