I'm surprised the creator decided to go this project in what appears to be his family's livingroom.

I guess he didn't have a very understanding teller at his dump bank when the project was done. The pennies are up for sale on feeBay.

I think someone here could break that record if they were inclined. Except on the side the message would read "Gresham's Law."

Grandpa always told me, "Back in 1964..." I listened.

Selling copper cents @ $2.50/lb. + shipping.

I have a nickel pyramid that I've been in the process of constructing. I haven't added to it in a while but it's more than halfway finished. I think when it's done it will have about $144 in nickels. I used glue to bind the coins together and make it more durable. It's pretty cool looking and when it's done it should be even more appealing to the eye.

I have a mouse ball pyramid...as the old mouse goes obsolete I scavenge the tracking balls out of them and add to the pyramid. They look like gray cannonballs all stacked up. 6x6 base so far, working on the 7th.

That's a lot of pennies. Would love to have them in copper. If the Pyramid was built with pre-1982 Canadian Nickel that would be equally as nice.

Well I work in Electrical Engineering, so they always want the latest computers and obsolete equipment (like a non-optical mouse) are going the way of the floppy disk. The recycle bins are my source.

Started a new job today. Really nice computer in my new office... but a junky mouse. There may be a mouse ball finding a new home soon. I have no idea how they STILL have this old mouse.

Too funny...note it's less hassle to discard the old one than refurbish it.

I mean that a mouse ball might be rolling over to your place, haha. Yeah, I'm thinking about getting an optical mouse.

Precisely what I was thinking when I first saw this video about 8-9 months ago.

Just my two cents!

They got way too much time on their hands. But it was neat.
