Bullion Direct is where I sold before, and where I've been planning to continue selling. It seems more straightforward than running a makeshift auction here. You can see bid and ask prices and quantities clearly posted at any time of day, and having an intermediary company lets you transact anonymously and reduces risk. If I thought I could get a better price on realcent I would reconsider, but I'm not sure that's the case. I'll definitely consider realcent if I have something to sell that doesn't match one of Bullion Direct's standardized products. |

I know people that put 68-70 pounds of pennies in those boxes, too. 
I think you could get a couple of boxes of halves in there. Be sure to use lots of tape and pack well inside so there is no load shifting.

Teller had box of dimes on counter, I picked out the roll that showed a silver roosevelt tails on the end. |

JobIII - I, like you, am getting frustrated. I've scored 65 silver halves this year but I have searched 32.54 equivalent boxes to get these. My find rate I believe has now slipped under 0.20% which is pathetic. It has taken a lot of logistical planning to source/dump all the coin not to mention driving around/gas/etc. I've been doing dimes lately as I'm getting sick of the halves. On a positive note, the last time I got really frustrated in mid-December a (71) count 40% silver box came shortly afterwards. I have to be due for something good!!! Maybe some good luck this weekend?!?!? Some of these finds reported here are truly amazing...I wish I knew how these guys pull it off consistently week after week. Keep the faith brother. |

| I think that there are a lot more people now who are searching halves for silver, because my half purchases today were all skunks. I bought almost $70 today, partly loose, partly rolled, but not even an NIFC. Maybe one of you guys are tampering with my banks.... |

I called my bank back, and had them hold the remainder of the box from the 4 silver roll.
