2 boxes of halves, skunked. Continuing my LIFETIME streak of skunks...the reason I don't like to search halves.

2 boxes of dimes, skunk. One roll had a penny in place of the dime, so short 9 cents overall. At least it was copper!

Some loose rolls at several banks today. A total of $23.00. There was one 40% in there from 1967. It was terribly ugly, almost like it had been bleached out with mustard or something. Still, I don't refuse silver at way below it's spot price!

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum for this question, but what is up with posting on the modern Kennedy half quantities? Something special about those?

Grandpa always told me, "Back in 1964..." I listened.

Selling copper cents @ $2.50/lb. + shipping.

NIFC and proof modern Kennedy halves have a small value over face currently. These NIFCs and proofs were minted in limited quanities and have some collector value. I guess it's all about seeing if you can find more than anyone else.

Would you estimate their value to be around 75 cents to a dollar or even less?

That sounds about right for their value. It depends if you can find someone who wants them for their collection. Excluding the SILVERs, I don't think dealers would be interested in the circulated NIFCs and proofs we find.

I see we walk some common ground.

Not exactly dream boxes but if we keep plugging away, it adds up.

Happy hunting.
