$60 CWR Halves 1-1964 3-1966 3-1967 8-1968D 3-1969D
the rest were BU 71's and 72's
I needed that.
2-Boxes Nickels Box-1 Skunk Box-2 2-WN 2-Bufs 37' and a no date
Also, in an incredible coin counter reject was a nice 1857 Large Cent! At least an F12 and maybe worth $80 or more.
Also got a nice batch of Canadian and other today.
The teller at my second dump bank had just received the halves which they normally would not take. The teller next to her wanted $4 worth so she kept them. The two took eight non silvers, never realizing what they had.
Lucky indeed.
Happy hunting.
I have enough bricks of pennies and nickels to build a brick outhouse.
Snow coming.

The 1857 was the last year they minted large cent coppers, only 333,546 were produced and many were melted down too. These coins were 100% copper and had two basic varieties large date (the "1" nearly touches Liberty's lower neckline) and the small date. That's one of nicest copper finds I've ever heard. Could you scan it and put up a photo of this beautiful coin?
Tell me if you ever want to sell it or trade it for SILVER. I love the old US coppers, especially the half cents. |

2 boxes of halves
box 1: 3- 2005S
box 2: 1-69D 4-68D 4-67 4-66 1-64
for all the edge sorters (Im not great at it I admit) the 64 was rubbed and dirty enough that it blended in nicely with the clads and I missed it on the edge check. |

Country-
1994P had the most machine double and triple errors of any half I have ever found.
Two ears and complete facelines are easy to see and sometimes three.
I would definitely review all those halves.
I will scan the Large Cent or maybe get some good photos.
Soon,

Great finds posted lately!
Keep the silver coming. I believe we have little if any effect on each other with our finds. (dumps are another matter though)
Happy hunting!

Okay guys! I placed an order for my first $500 box of halves at lunchtime today! They can't tell me when their armored truck comes in for security reasons, but they told me that I could come in either next Friday, or the week after that. Surprised that they'd get them so soon. Does it take this short of time for you guys as well? Anyway, I'll let you guys know what I find when I get it. Wish me luck! Kirkland |
