Here in Alaska I can buy 90% below spot any time. The dealer just marks the price down to the nearest .5X face on his 90% so it is always below spot.

Wasn't there an online site that you could buy silver for cheap and hardly any shipping? Someone was discussing it on here but I can't find the thread.

Thanks yeah I think you had mentioned them before. Silver Eagles in the 18.75 range is nice but I don't have $9,000 laying around :( We should form a buying block on here so we can get huge discounts :-)

Pennysaved, That's a great idea. It wouldn't be that hard to put something like that together. It really depends on getting the word out and seeing how many people show interest.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.

tulving does a lot of business and his premiums tend to be steady.

i heard apmex is down to 1.99, and they generally have smaller premiums.

its less meaningful to cite them though because they change their premiums as a loss leader from time to time.

anyway, its easy to get hung up on premiums and miss the forest for the trees. the reason why i started this thread was because there was some concern that with the economy there would be a divergence between the physical and paper prices. right now, i don't see that.

Buying:
Peace/Morgan G+ at $15.00
copper cents at 1.3X
wheat pennies at 3X

i was recently talking to a local dealer and it seems that alot of bullion dealers will adjust their premium percentages according to the current exchange rate, although he was talking about a few local dealers who are joint ventured with currency exchange house's.
