Is there any talk of the 2010 cent yet, I'm not seeing much.
Also is the "2009 proof cent" struck in 95% copper as suggested in 2008? I see the "annual silver proof set" is available at the mint site for $52 and includes the 4 cent coins, but I have no interest in a zinc proof. Found my answer You must be logged in to see this link.
Any ideas or links on a 2010 cent would be appreciated.

Says "no change for the next 25 years" in the article, that makes me 66 when I can cash in my bag of copper cents to the smelter.

This reverse design begins appearing on pennies dated 2010, and is expected to remain in place for at least 25 years or until the One Cent coin type is abolished in the United States

| I was just searching the forum for info on the 2010 cent. I am surprised there hasn't been more buzz! Can't say I am terribly impressed with the design but I don't mind something new. Doesn't sound like they are too confident in the cent being around in the future! |

| I saw something on the news tonight about the 2010 cent. Amazingly enough, my kids were too loud during that particular 30-second timeframe. So I have no idea what the news was. Aaaaanyway... |
