I was sorting a box last night and found a 2007 in cherry condition that has the thickness of two penny's. When you lay this penny on the table next to two other's stacked on top of each other, this one is still thicker. I have never seen anything like this. Is this common or has anyone seen this before.

That's really interesting. Can't wait to hear more details about it and possibly see a photo.
If you still have it, bring it along to a bigger coin show and perhaps someone there could check it out for you. I know that BJ Neff was looking coins over for people at the recent FUN Show. He is sometimes at the Central Florida Coin Club Show too.
