uthminsta, your list is of small cents only? or of either small cents or nickels? |

uthminsta, thanks for compiling the 2010 Canadian penny finds list.
I think it would be a good idea if the admins created a separate thread for 2010 Canadian nickel finds. It is a bit confusing following this thread at times.

Alright... I did some rereading, and I saw no explicit references to ANY finds of George V nickels. The only nickels mentioned at all were: 1943 coppernicus 1945 1945v So, unless it is specified, I'm assuming the coin mentioned is a cent. Lots of hints like "found it in the zinc pile" and... well... the fact that this is primarily a cent site. Bottom line, let's assume that the list at the top of this page is accurate unless one of those guys corrects the info. |

I have found very few of the King George V cents, but tonight I found a 1929 King George V in really nice condition ... I'm 'guessing' VF-XF.
It was a very pleasant surprise among all those 'Zincolns'.

I found a 1920 cent in FINE condition last night. It is the first George V that I've found in over 30 years
It came in a $10.00 batch from Seneca, South Carolina. |

1933 in a box of $25. But $15 dollars of it was new mint wrapped 2009's and the teller said she hardly had any pennies left. I hope they get more old ones in or I'm going to have to go to a different bank!!!! |

Found a 1925 George V 6 Pence I beleive from Australia. I know not really what is being tracked here, but finding silver in a penny roll is always great. |

I found a 1924 last week. A very good chance it is my first. It's certainly the first since I knew some were tracking them.

Dave's 1927 nickel is the first Geo V reported this year! And I know EVERY Geo V cent is a pretty rare find, but Roadrunner's 1922 and ZeroCD's 1924 are pretty rare dates aren't they? THE LIST IS ACCURATE TO THIS POINT. |

My system of sorting copper cents allows the Ryedale to occasionally spit on the floor. As I was picking up some of the fallen today I spotted King George's backside It turned out to be an VF to XF 1928. Sometimes you find things in the oddest places. As far as scarcity goes, this is my third KGV whereas I've found 17 IHC's |

I made a major score in George V nickels (5 cents) this week. Looks like a collection dump.
