You guys all did great on your storyline submissions. I couldn't believe how fast some of the stories switched directions, or the tangents they went off in when I expected they might have gone elsewhere. There are truly some creative, inventive, story tellers out there. Bet you all tell a good yarn. A few of the categories had too many great contributions to limit it to just one winner. Some contributors, like an assist in basketball, left a line wide open for the next person to pounce on with a great response. I'd like to give them recognition as well. So, since it's a New Year, to start 2010 off right, there's no losers. But there are different prize levels. Oober for his "king midas finger" in copper gets to choose Peace or Morgan along with a BU 1954-S Rosie dime, also three BU 1959-D Rosie dimes for most entries; Wolvesdad gets to choose Peace or Morgan along with a BU 1954-S Rosie dime for his "Atlanteans descendents of oceanic pirates in nickel; TheJonasCollegeFund gets to choose Peace or Morgan along with a BU 1954-S Rosie dime for his "Tiger Woods" comment in silver; tied with MarketHarmony for his "Al Gore inventions" (Michael, you get to choose also Peace or Morgan along with a BU 1954-S Rosie dime, along with three BU 1959-D Rosie dimes for many runner-up entries); DelawhereJack gets to choose Peace or Morgan along with a BU 1954-S Rosie dime for his "alien football players" in economics; and finally a three way tie in general between AGgressiveMetal for his "chinese accent" Ant for her "rapid-fire Cuban" and JerrySpringer for his "copper Lenz effect" you each get to choose Peace or Morgan along with a BU 1954-S Rosie dime. All other contestants will receive three BU 1959-D Rosie dimes. BTW, both of these dimes have graded MS63 to MS64 when sent to PCGS. Send me your addresses PM and then give me a few days to get these out. Hope you all enjoyed the contest, it was fun for me just to read your replies. Feel free to keep the threads going if it's fun for everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to All  Now we just need to pack the forum tonight

Wow, definately a very cool and unexpected suprise. I just thought the add a line game was fun. I kept reading the updates to the family. We all enjoyed it. I'm going to give my bounty to my seven year old son and make sure he knows it came from Uncle Ray!

I enjoyed reading it, I even thought of some stuff to add while I was working. But by the time I got to read the posts, someone else had added to the line I was going to add to.
Some were very good and fit in well with the times ( Tiger Woods ) and recent posts ( it's for the grandkids ) |
