I'm moving......, where to 12 KHz? (are you a fishfinder as well?)
I planted a seed with someone and he found a bank locally that is producing halves. I am opening an account today to place my order.
My three sources are beat.

12kHz - ON FIRE!!!
The only problem with getting boxes like those is that it sets a bad precedent. This happened to my brother and I after we got our box that produced (71) 40%. Now getting a SKUNK or 1 or 2 silvers feels much worse than before. After that big box we just don't seem to appreciate or get as excited about finding a couple silvers.
The other problem that has arose is that we now check all the coins on the roll ends before we bust the box. If a box does not have any roll-end silvers I think this is a very strong predictor (probably statistically significant) that the box is going to be a bust.
12kHz, you must be getting a lot of rolls that have silvers on the ends. Those are exciting!!!
Has anyone here ever opened a machined rolled box that did not have any roll end silvers and still have it produce more than 10-15 silvers??? I bet it is rare.

Unfortunately it seems much more common for the lone silver on the end to be the only silver in the entire box.

I have had tough going as well Country. I opened a new account with a new bank with a different supply service than my other three sources. I ordered 2 boxes of halves at each of two branches with pennies and nickels as well. This supply source has been producing for a friend I got started. I will now have 10 boxes a week in halves. I haven't located a source for bags.
Got lotsa pennies and nickels for the weekend..
Gonna be the war nickel king!

Yes, I seem to be in the right place at the right time. I'm located in Louisiana. I just started searching at the end of October. My first six boxes had a total of 6 40% halves, but after that it has been smooth sailing with good finds almost every week. I know I'm getting spoiled. Many of my boxes have CWI stamps with one specific date in July (though some boxes are blank or have other stamps). I wonder how big that supply of boxes is. |

12kHz -
Started in mid-November. Like you the vast majority of my finds have come from CWI boxes dated October 5. I think those boxes have dried up as I am now getting boxes dated December 18 and they are garbage. I need more of those October boxes!!!

2 boxes nickels plus $60 CWR
Box 1- Skunk Box 2- 1WN Also I seem to have a clear 1955 overstike in the first 5. The over stamped 5 is just a bit lower and the result is two clear and distintly separated hats on the first 5 of 55.
$60 CWR yielded 1WN
Out of nickels

Hey.. what happened to my percent standing on the silver half board? I should be the leader now.. at least until I crack open the rolls I picked up today. I know I should quit after that one find and maintain my lead.. but who can turn down CWR halves when the bank offers them? |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Just trying to get you to sort a little more to reach the $50 minimum.
Is there anything in the SILVER search data that you would like to see displayed? |
