Here's some food for thought for 2010.
The stats at the bottom of the home page say we have 920 members, 766 of which have made posts. I'm going to go on the low side and say that only 200 people will view this thread. That includes members, nonposting members, and nonregistered members. Let's say that each one of those 200 people sorted just one more box of pennies each week of 2010. That would be:
200 X 52 = 10,400 boxes or $260,000.
Now, using the average of 20% coppers per box, those numbers would equate to:
$260,000 X .2 = $52,000
That's fifty-two thousand dollars in pennies. Five million, two hunded thousand individual copper cents.
So, if you guys want to help make that much more of a dent in available copper, and raise prices just that much more, simply sort one more box a week!

You should always keep a few spare boxes stashed here and there for those time when you can't get any.
