I had posted just a little earlier wondering if someone in Central Florida was searching rolls of pennies for the copper ones and putting hash marks on the wrappers. After searching a few more of these hash marked wrappers and noticing zero or maybe one to two copper pennies at most in a roll, I just encountered a really weird roll.
The wrapper had nine hash marks on it. I open it up and all coins are so bright and shiny. I start looking at the pennies. I ended up finding 49 very shiny looking copper pennies and 2 from 1991 for a total of 51 pennies.
I've had some unusual rolls I have searched before but I think this is probably one of the weirdest.
I got one with 43 or 45 once. There were 2 wheats in it so I guess it made up a little bit. Looked wrong before I opened it so counted it out just to see.
