The particular rolls I am asking about happen to be dime and quarter but it could be for any denomination and this seems to be the most viewed area on the forum, hence, my posting the question here.
I am trying to go through some dime rolls now. Just finished up some quarters that were the same way.
I know the old joke about "no, I didn't gain weight, my clothes shrunk hanging in the closet from all the humidity."
Can paper sleeve type coin wrappers shrink down to where there is such a tight fit that you can barely, if at all, remove the coins from the wrapper to search the coins??? I struggled with quarters. Now I am fighting with some dimes--and the coins are winning the fight!!! It is worse than a plastic BWR because I am trying to salvage these wrappers to reroll the coins because I don't have enough extra wrappers to just rip these off the coins. But getting them out and then back into the wrappers is torture.
What might have happened?
