That's quite a large sale. Did you sell it to someone local so there was no shipping involved? Not a bad price about 1.7 cents apiece. Glad to see the price creeping up toward 2 cents again. When we get to 2 cents apiece I am going to start selling. I always thought I would wait for 5 times face but I have lowered my goal.

SELLING - $100.00 face copper shipped to you for $189.00 machine rolled or bagged - PM me if your interested.

Thanks guys - yes ND, local (outsider not from this forum), & no fees - took 3 trips in my 1/2 ton P/U. They were raw sorts from the fabulous Ryedale, Canadians included. It was strange - bumped into 2 buyers in 2 days. The other buyer was 250 miles away and a very reclusive gazillionaire who also happens to hand sort. The sale went to the close buyer - 5 miles away from home.
8900. not too bad of a day! You could've made it in 2 trips too pretty easily as well. Couple hundred lbs up front and 1500ish in the back wouldn't have given ya any trouble at all
Buying CU cents!!!! Paying 1.2 unlimited amounts wanted. Can pick up if near Ohio area.
So how did you "bump" into these buyers? I need to "bump" into a few.
The first was at a bank up near where my mother-in-law lives. I opened an account to be able to buy pennies whenever I need to go pick her up for the holidays, etc. I always get $500 per trip. That attracts a lot of curiosity in a one horse town. That buyer was also picking up pennies to sort and asked to buy my coppers after we talked pennies for a while. She happened to be an acquaintance of my mom-in-law. The second was the son of a guy who used to buy my copper. His father died last year and he was at Home Depot and asked if I was was still selling pennies.
