Are the large copper pennies from England and Oz worth keeping or is there a market for them? They are the size of a half dollar and I seem to find quite a few of them while hunting halves. Sorry if this topic had been discussed before. I am trying to decide if I should send them back into the wild or try to sell them for more than 50 cents. Thanks for any feedback. detect4au
The only ones worth more than 50 cents are coins in XF or Unc. Or in the case of Australia if they are before George VI.

I have learn that I really like a few around. They are each 1/3 ounce of pure copper.
At the coin dealers I make it a point to search the cheap bins and get all they have, but then I also get the Brtish 1/2 pennies and 3 penny coins as well.
