I like mine also. I think they are the hidden gem of the class of 2009. I just cannot male myself buy the 2009 uncirculated sets. I have the proof sets, several Lincoln Silver dollars, a Chronicles set, now some proof 09 cents. I'd still like to get an 09 dime & nickel & Sac. dollar not in a proof set, but I won't pay extra for them! Just not worth it, IMHO.

I was thinking of buying them seperate, but stuck with the 09 silver proof set. So I got me some.

As with the millions of people that buy them, they will be looked at, admired, talked about for a long time. Then put away somewhere and forgotten. Happens all the time with everything. Remember the Beanie Babies?

Yeah, but I don't recall a beanie baby made to look like Lincoln though. There is something about Lincoln - he'll be remembered for a long time! What did I hear about him, that the only person who has more written about him in the world is Jesus? I believe it! Now where are those Jesus coins???? Just kidding! No offense!

Haha, I just found one. 2006 Cape Verde 25 Escudos. I was looking at the 21st century Krause book at Canadian coins, and the next listing after that was Cape Verde. I wonder what original picture they used of Jesus to make the engraving? :)

Well done, uthminsta. Now, a picture of the coin???? Or a link???

Also, reminds me of that saying "you know who" said in the Bible when asked about the Roman coins, "Render unto Caesar . . ." So would one render those coins "unto" a church then????? And just in time for Christmas, no less! (Sorry for the off-topic and wandering discussion! It is late in the day for me!)

Here He is!

The coin is .9999 fine, but Jesus was purer than that. Sorry for the lame joke. Moving on...
